There are hundreds of different Korean folk masks. This is one of 26 different characters in the Bongsan play that is performed in Hwanghae Province.
This is one of the Korean mask plays passed down in Haeseo area in Hwanghae province. Bongsan mask plays were performed once a year in the five day New Year in Hwanghae province as merchants called mask players and asked them to perform.
